West, Texas

If anyone who reads this blog is worried about our proximity to the fertilizer plant explosion yesterday night in the city of west, texas, rest assured that we are all fine. West is about 60 miles north of us (north of Waco) and we didn't feel the earthquake the blast caused or see any of the fallout.

 

Daddy got to leave work early today and we tried to get Sophia in the DEERS system (it establishes your eligibility for Military healthcare and things like that) today, but the office had already closed when we got there. So we went and got mexican food for a late lunch and now are having some nice family time on the couch all together. Sophia loves the silly faces that her daddy makes!
